As you know, your skin is your largest organ, and its exposed to not only the environment around you but also to the products you chose to put on it. That means the good, the bad, and the ugly chemicals are absorbed all the time. Most would agree to the importance of minimizing exposure to potentially dangerous substances, especially when it comes to our skin care products. The list of things to avoid is long and healthier products usually cost a little more, but that price is worth it when we consider the unpleasantness we may be able to avoid* in the long-run by spending a few dollars more for organic, or non-GMO, or paraben-free, etc., skin care products.
As with the other categories, I have done a lot of the research for you so 99% of the products presented on this page truly are healthier alternatives to deodorants containing harsher chemicals such as aluminum, propylene glycol, and parabens.
